ALLOS continues AZZURRO technology

AZZURRO was a pioneer of the Gallium nitride on silicon (GaN-on-Si) technology and has developed and produced GaN-on-Si wafers for more than eleven years. Its products for use in LED and power semiconductor applications shaped the industry and set benchmarks. Among its distinguished customer base were most of the leading power semiconductor and LED industry players. In 2008 OSRAM of Germany licensed its technology for GaN-on-Si LED epiwafers.

Unfortunately AZZURRO had to cease its operation in mid-2014.

ALLOS Semiconductors GmbH, a company founded by former AZZURRO employees, has bought all intangible assets including the complete technology, know-how and patents in an auction process. As such ALLOS has become the exclusive owner of all those intangible assets, technology, know-how and patents.
